Join for free food, networking & entrepreneurship at our second annual Side Hustle Expo, sponsored by Small Business & Entrepreneurship Development. The Side Hustle Expo is scheduled to take place May 1, 2025, at the North Las Vegas Campus, June Whitley Student Lounge. This event provides a platform for students to showcase their entrepreneurial ventures and gain access to valuable resources to further develop their businesses. In collaboration with the City of North Las Vegas (City of NLV), the NV Capital Readiness Program (NVCRP), EmployNV, and the Nevada Small Business Development Center (SBDC), the Expo will include pre-event support, a robust judging panel, and a post-event workshop series designed to turn participants’ side hustles into sustainable businesses.
The Las Vegas Entrepreneur Accelerator is an economic development initiative borne from the joint efforts of Access CDFI and Sumnu Marketing in response to an award received from the City of Las Vegas. Our mission is to increase economic inclusion and empowerment in the Nevada region by providing customized analysis, resources, and funding to accelerate the growth of scalable socially and economically disadvantaged (SEDI)-owned businesses. Our focus is on serving scalable, underserved SEDI-owned businesses located in the City of Las Vegas.
